| Description | The GitHub project Handwriting-OCR/handwriting-ocr-mcp-server contains a path traversal or arbitrary file access vulnerability. Attacker-controlled path input is used for local file-system access without restricting the resolved path to an approved directory, allowing read or write access outside the intended workspace depending on the affected endpoint or tool. A local proof of concept confirmed the file access impact and the vendor was contacted through https://github.com/Handwriting-OCR/handwriting-ocr-mcp-server/issues/6.
