| Title | doccano v1.8.5 Broken Access Control |
|---|
| Description | The example detail endpoint is vulnerable to broken object-level authorization. Although the route validates the project_id from the URL, the backend resolves example_id through a global lookup instead of restricting it to the same project. As a result, any user who can access one project prefix can supply a foreign example_id and read, update, or delete an example that belongs to another project. This breaks tenant isolation, enables unauthorized data exposure and modification, and can lead to cross-project data corruption or loss. |
