| Title | karakeep-app karakeep >= 0.26.0, <= 0.32.0 Improper Authentication |
|---|
| Description | Karakeep (formerly Hoarder) supports a server-wide policy EMAIL_VERIFICATION_REQUIRED that is intended to prevent any user from signing in until they have verified ownership of their email address. This control is enforced only on the credential (email + password) login path. The OAuth / OIDC sign-in path in the NextAuth signIn callback (apps/web/server/auth.ts) does not check the emailVerified flag, so a user authenticating through a configured OAuth provider can sign in and obtain a session even when email verification is mandated by the server config. |
