| Title | coppermine-gallery cpg1.6.x v1.6.28 Cross Site Scripting |
|---|
| Description | Coppermine Photo Gallery cpg1.6.x v1.6.28 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in public album descriptions. A low-privilege authenticated user can abuse a hidden album update endpoint to modify the description of a public upload-enabled album they do not own. Because album descriptions are later rendered with unsafe BBCode URL handling, attacker-controlled content such as a javascript: link can be stored and executed when another user clicks the rendered album description on a public page. The issue affects the GitHub repository https://github.com/coppermine-gallery/cpg1.6.x and has already been fixed by the vendor in v1.6.29. |
