| Title | jofpin trape latest (main/master branch) CWE-306 |
|---|
| Description | The victim deletion endpoint removes all records (victim, geo, networks) for any given vId without verifying the caller is the authenticated operator. The remove_path is a randomly generated token (14 chars) that provides minor obfuscation but is not a substitute for authorization. Once the path is known or guessed, any client can delete any or all tracked victims, destroying the operator's collected data. Exploitation: An attacker sends POST /<remove_path> with body vId=target_victim_id. The victim's entire record set is permanently deleted. By enumerating vId values (which are short 5-char tokens generated by utils.generateToken(5)), the attacker can wipe the entire database of tracked victims. |
