| Title | jofpin trape latest (main/master branch) CWE-306 |
|---|
| Description | The /pn endpoint allows setting a human-readable name label on any victim record without authentication or ownership verification. The business rule is that only the operator (who authenticated via stats_key) should be able to annotate tracked victims with names for OSINT purposes. Any network-reachable client can overwrite victim names, corrupting the operator's intelligence data and associating false identities with real victim records. Exploitation: Attacker sends POST /pn with vId=any_victim_id&n=SpoofedName. The victim's record is relabeled. Combined with /get_data enumeration, an attacker can systematically rename every victim, sabotaging the operator's investigation or planting disinformation. |
