| Title | Rizwan17 inventory-management-system bfe78a330d01bb26b9daec5dc9ecd5c77900e03f SQL Injection |
|---|
| Description | The affected component is `includes/manage.php` method `update_record()`, invoked from `includes/process.php` via unauthenticated handlers `update_category`, `update_brand`, and `update_product`. User-controlled table keys and values are concatenated into a raw UPDATE statement and executed with `mysqli_query()`:
```php
foreach ($where as $key => $value) {
$condition .= $key . "='" . $value . "' AND ";
}
foreach ($fields as $key => $value) {
$sql .= $key . "='".$value."', ";
}
$sql = "UPDATE ".$table." SET ".$sql." WHERE ".$condition;
mysqli_query($this->con,$sql);
```
An unauthenticated attacker can inject SQL through POST fields such as `update_category` / `cid` to rewrite WHERE clauses, modify arbitrary rows, or escalate to broader database compromise. |
