| Title | SourceCodester Inventory Management System 1.0 Cross Site Scripting |
|---|
| Description | A stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Product Inventory Management System by SourceCodester. The Vendor Management module located at /api/vendors_handler.php does not sanitize or encode vendor input fields before storing them in the database. When the vendor list is rendered at /vendors.php, the stored payload executes in the victim's browser. An authenticated attacker can inject a malicious payload such as <img src=x onerror=alert(document.cookie)> into vendor fields via an intercepted POST request, causing session cookie theft and account takeover for any user who visits the Vendor Management page. |
