Submit #925687: PHPGurukul Daily Expense Tracker System 1.1 SQL Injectioninfo

TitlePHPGurukul Daily Expense Tracker System 1.1 SQL Injection
DescriptionThe forgot-password and reset-password pages in the Daily Expense Tracker System project contain pre-authentication SQL Injection vulnerabilities. The forgot-password form accepts an email and mobile number, concatenates them directly into a SELECT query, and upon a successful result stores the email and mobile number in session variables. The attacker is then redirected to the reset-password page, which reads the email and mobile number from the previously set session variables and concatenates them into an UPDATE query to change the password. Because both $_POST['email'] and $_POST['contactno'] are inserted into the SQL without sanitization, the entire forgot-password-to-reset-password flow is injectable without authentication.
