| Title | D-Link DIR-X1860Z 1.0.2.220120.165402 Information Disclosure |
|---|
| Description | A vulnerability was found in D-Link DIR-X1860Z up to firmware 1.0.2.220120.165402. It has been declared as high. Affected by this vulnerability are the routerd methods wificfg_get and get_rand_key of the ubus JSON-RPC interface listening on port 23355. An unauthenticated attacker on the local network can recover the plaintext WPA2/WPA3 pre-shared keys for both wireless bands. The wireless passphrase is returned encrypted via routerd.wificfg_get; the AES-128 decryption key is obtainable via the unauthenticated routerd.get_rand_key method; and the AES-CBC IV is hard-coded in the firmware as the string [email protected], making full passphrase recovery trivial without any credentials. |
