| Title | Tenda RouterOS AC9V1.0BR_V15.03.2.13 Stack-based Buffer Overflow |
|---|
| Description | A vulnerability was found in Tenda AC9 15.03.02.13. The affected element is the function saveParentControlInfo of the file /goform/saveParentControlInfo of the component POST Request Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument deviceId results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be initiated remotely.
A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the saveParentControlInfo function of /bin/httpd. The function directly copies the user-supplied deviceId parameter using strcpy() without performing length validation. An attacker can provide an excessively long deviceId value to trigger a buffer overflow, which may result in denial of service or arbitrary code execution. |
