| Title | Tenda RouterOS AC9 15.03.02.13 Stack-based Buffer Overflow |
|---|
| Description | A vulnerability was found in Tenda AC9 15.03.02.13. The affected element is the function fromDhcpListClient of the file /goform/DhcpListClient of the component POST Request Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument deviceId results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be initiated remotely.
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the fromDhcpListClient function of /bin/httpd. The function does not validate the length of the user-supplied page parameter before passing it to sprintf(), which writes the value into a 256-byte stack buffer (v9). An attacker can provide an overly long page parameter to trigger a stack overflow, resulting in memory corruption and potential code execution. |
