| Title | Agno AGI Agno 2.7.3 CWE-94 Code Injection |
|---|
| Description | A code-injection vulnerability in agno's PythonTools lets anyone who can influence the code argument of run_python_code() -- directly, or remotely through an agent that processes untrusted content (prompt injection) -- execute arbitrary Python code in the host interpreter process. The safe_globals/safe_locals parameters that are meant to restrict the execution namespace default to the interpreter's full globals() (which contains __builtins__, exposing __import__ and every built-in) and locals(), and run_python_code() runs the supplied code with exec() with no AST filtering, no __builtins__ restriction, no sandbox, and no confirmation gate by default.
Affected: agno <= 3.0.6. Patched versions: None.
Reported to the vendor: https://github.com/agno-agi/agno/issues/10047. |
