| Title | Agno AGI Agno 2.7.3 CWE-306 Missing Authentication for Critical Function |
|---|
| Description | An unauthenticated attacker who can reach an AgentOS runtime left in its default configuration gains full read/write access to the management plane and to every conversation: they can enumerate agent/team/workflow configuration, read all session histories, and submit arbitrary agent, team, and workflow runs. AgentOS installs no authentication layer unless the operator explicitly supplies a credential — with the defaults authorization=False (app.py:244) and os_security_key=None (settings.py:21), the single auth gate auth_configured = bool(self.authorization or jwt_env_configured or security_key) (app.py:1235) evaluates to False, so the AuthMiddleware is never installed; every REST router then resolves through get_authentication_dependency(), which returns True (allow) whenever no security key is set (auth.py:238-239). The /info endpoint confirms and broadcasts the open state to any caller by returning auth_mode: "none".
Affected: agno >= 2.0.0, <= 3.0.6. Patched versions: None.
