| Title | Agno AGI Agno 2.7.3 CWE-250 Execution with Unnecessary Privileges |
|---|
| Description | agno's Team delegation feature grants a member agent the leader's identity and leaves the member's full toolset unrestricted whenever a task is delegated, with no tool-level scoping and no human confirmation by default. The built-in delegate_task_to_member tool is registered without requires_confirmation, _setup_delegate_task_to_member performs no tool filtering, and member_agent.run() executes the member under the leader's user_id, session, session-state copy, dependencies, and metadata. An attacker who can influence the leader's context — for example, via prompt injection against a Team that processes untrusted content — can therefore drive a member carrying dangerous tools (file write, shell, code execution) to perform arbitrary operations under the leader's identity, with no confirmation, no scope reduction, and no delegation audit record (CWE-250, Critical, CVSS 9.8).
Affected: agno <= 3.0.6. Patched versions: None.
