Trong kernel Linux, lỗ hổng sau đây đã được khắc phục:

ksmbd: sửa lỗi đọc slab-out-of-bounds trong ksmbd_alloc_user()

Hàm `ksmbd_alloc_user()` sao chép `resp->hash_sz` byte ra khỏi phản hồi đăng nhập IPC của mountd bằng cách thực hiện các thao tác sau:

`resp->hash_sz` là một giá trị `__u16` được cung cấp bởi phản hồi, nhưng mảng `resp->hash[]` chỉ có kích thước tối đa là KSMBD_REQ_MAX_HASH_SZ byte. Một phản hồi đăng nhập bị lỗi hoặc độc hại có thể đặt `hash_sz` vượt xa giới hạn đó (lên đến 65535), khiến hàm `memcpy()` đọc dữ liệu ra ngoài vùng kết thúc của đối tượng phản hồi. Hàm `ipc_validate_msg()` không kiểm tra biên cho `hash_sz`, do đó cần từ chối bất kỳ phản hồi nào có `hash_sz` vượt quá kích thước bộ đệm hash[] trên ngăn xếp trước khi tiến hành phân bổ và sao chép.
