This vulnerability affects several Canon laser printer models including the LBP6650 LBP3370 LBP3460 and LBP7750C devices. The issue stems from insufficient authentication controls within the web-based management interface of these printers. Specifically an attacker can bypass the administrator mode authentication by manipulating the frame.cgi?page=DevStatus parameter to access restricted administrative functions without proper credentials.
