Microsoft Windows Media Player versioni 6.4 e 7.1 e Media Player per Windows XP consentono ad attaccanti remoti di bypassare i meccanismi di sicurezza di Internet Explorer (IE) ed eseguire codice tramite un file multimediale .wma eseguibile con un requisito di installazione della licenza memorizzato nella cache di IE, noto anche come "Cache Path Disclosure via Windows Media Player".
