Der Molly IRC Bot 0.5 ermöglicht es Remote-Attackern, beliebige Befehle über Shell-Metazeichen in (1) der $host-Variable für nslookup.pl, (2) den $to-, $from- oder $message-Variablen in pop.pl, (3) den $words- oder $text-Variablen in sms.pl oder (4) den $server- oder $printer-Variablen in hpled.pl auszuführen.
