Ein heap-basierter Buffer Overflow im ISS Protocol Analysis Module (PAM), wie er in bestimmten Versionen von RealSecure Network 7.0 und Server Sensor 7.0, Proventia A-, G- und M-Serie, RealSecure Desktop 7.0 und 3.6, RealSecure Guard 3.6, RealSecure Sentry 3.6, BlackICE PC Protection 3.6 sowie BlackICE Server Protection 3.6 verwendet wird, ermöglicht es Remote-Angriffern, beliebigen Code auszuführen, indem sie ein SMB-Paket mit einer Authentifizierungsanfrage und einem langen Benutzernamen senden.
