Es besteht eine CWE-248: Uncaught Exception-Schwachstelle in Modicon M580, Modicon M340, Modicon BMxCRA und 140CRA-Modulen (alle Firmware-Versionen), die bei einem Firmware-Upgrade des Controllers mit einem leeren Firmware-Paket über das FTP-Protokoll einen Denial-of-Service-Angriff auf die SPS verursachen könnte.
