Un buffer overflow nel controllo ActiveX di SQLServer presente nella DLL OLE delle Distributed Management Objects (sqldmo.dll) versione 2000.085.2004.00 in Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Manager 8.05.2004 consente agli attaccanti remoti di eseguire codice arbitrario tramite un secondo argomento di lunghezza eccessiva passato al metodo Start.
