| Title | MaxSite CMS 109 arbitrary file writing |
|---|
| Description | MaxSite CMS versions ≤ v109 have an arbitrary file writing vulnerability in application/maxsite/admin/plugins/auto_post/uploads-require-maxsite.php. Attackers with backend access can write malicious files by sending crafted requests with headers (X-Requested-FileName, X-Requested-FileUpDir) through the /require-maxsite/ endpoint. First, the attacker overwrites the .htaccess file to bypass execution restrictions, then uploads a PHP webshell via POST requests, potentially leading to remote code execution. |
