| Title | MaxSite CMS 109 file writing vulnerability |
|---|
| Description | MaxSite CMS ≤ v109 has a file writing vulnerability in application/maxsite/admin/plugins/editor_files/save-file-ajax.php. Authenticated attackers can write arbitrary content to existing files within the application's templates directory via POST parameters file_path (base64 encoded) and content. The vulnerability is exploitable through the /ajax/ endpoint and allows overwriting files like info.php in application/maxsite/templates/default/, potentially leading to remote code execution. |
