| Title | Tenda i3 V1.0.0.7(3856) Buffer Overflow |
|---|
| Description | A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Tenda i3 V1.0.0.7(3856) in the function formSetAutoPing, reachable via /goform/setAutoPing. The vulnerable argument is the POST parameter ping1. The handler copies attacker-controlled input into a fixed-size stack buffer without sufficient length validation. By sending a maliciously long ping1 value, an attacker can corrupt stack memory, causing the httpd process to crash and potentially enabling arbitrary code execution. The vulnerable path is triggered through a POST request with linkEn=1 and an oversized ping1 field. |
