| Title | Tenda RouterOS AC9 15.03.02.13 Stack-based Buffer Overflow |
|---|
| Description | A vulnerability was found in Tenda AC9 15.03.02.13. The affected element is the function fromNatStaticSetting of the file /goform/NatStaticSetting of the component POST Request Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument page results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used.
In the fromNatStaticSetting function of /bin/httpd , the user-controlled page parameter is not properly validated. The parameter is subsequently formatted into the local buffer s using sprintf. Because s is a fixed-size stack buffer (char s[256]), providing an overly long page value may result in a stack-based buffer overflow. |
