A vulnerability was found in PoDoFo 0.9.5 (Document Reader Software). It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects the function TextExtractor::ExtractText of the file TextExtractor.cpp of the component PDF Document Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a null pointer dereference vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-476. The function TextExtractor::ExtractText in TextExtractor.cpp:77 in PoDoFo 0.9.5 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via a crafted PDF document.
