A Remote Code Execution vulnerability in HPE Intelligent Management Center (iMC) PLAT version 7.2 was found.
The bug was discovered 04/27/2017. The weakness was presented 04/27/2017 by sztivi with Zero Day Initiative as ZDI-CAN-4539 / HPESBHF03738 as confirmed security bulletin (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at h20564.www2.hpe.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2017-5805 since 02/01/2017. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available.
