A vulnerability has been found in Adobe Flash Player up to 25.0.0.148 (Multimedia Player Software) and classified as critical. Adobe Flash Player versions 25.0.0.148 and earlier have an exploitable memory corruption vulnerability in the Advanced Video Coding engine. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
The bug was discovered 05/09/2017. The weakness was disclosed 05/09/2017 by Natalie Silvanovich with Google Project Zero (Website). The advisory is shared at helpx.adobe.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2017-3068 since 12/02/2016. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
