Details
A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in NVIDIA Windows GPU Display Driver (Hardware Driver Software) (unknown version). Affected is the function DxgkDdiEscape of the component Kernel Mode Layer. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a input validation vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-20. The product receives input or data, but it does
not validate or incorrectly validates that the input has the
properties that are required to process the data safely and
correctly. This is going to have an impact on availability. CVE summarizes:
All versions of the NVIDIA Windows GPU Display Driver contain a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer handler for DxgkDdiEscape where it may access paged memory while holding a spinlock, leading to a denial of service.
