The bug was discovered 05/10/2017. The weakness was published 05/15/2017 by Jann Horn (OSS-Fuzz) with Google Project Zero as HT207797 as confirmed advisory (Website). Upgrading to version 10.12.5 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
