The File Abstraction Layer (FAL) in TYPO3 6.0.x before 6.0.9 and 6.1.x before 6.1.4 does not properly check permissions, which allows remote authenticated users to create or read arbitrary files via a crafted URL.
The weakness was released 09/04/2013 by Sebastian Nerz as TYPO3-CORE-SA-2013-003 as not defined advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at typo3.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2013-4320 since 06/12/2013. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The requirement for exploitation is a single authentication.
