PicketBox, as used in Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform before 6.1.1, allows local users to obtain the admin encryption key by reading the Vault data file.

The weakness was shared 09/04/2013 as Bug 948106 as confirmed changelog entry (Website). The advisory is shared at bugzilla.redhat.com. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2013-1921 since 02/19/2013. The attack may be initiated remotely.
