lib/Config/Model.pm in Config-Model (aka libconfig-model-perl) before 2.102 allows local users to gain privileges via a crafted model in the current working directory, related to use of . with the INC array.
The bug was discovered 05/14/2017. The weakness was released 05/23/2017 (Website). The advisory is available at cpansearch.perl.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2017-0374 since 11/29/2016. Local access is required to approach this attack. A simple authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
