A vulnerability was found in LibTIFF 4.0.7 (Image Processing Software) and classified as problematic. This issue affects the function TIFFReadDirEntryLong8Array of the file tif_dirread.c. In LibTIFF 4.0.7, a memory leak vulnerability was found in the function TIFFReadDirEntryLong8Array in tif_dirread.c, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted file.
The bug was discovered 04/20/2017. The weakness was shared 06/02/2017 as Bug 2689 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). It is possible to read the advisory at bugzilla.maptools.org.
