A vulnerability was found in Adobe Flash Player up to 25.0.0.171 (Multimedia Player Software) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the component Image Decoder. Adobe Flash Player versions 25.0.0.171 and earlier have an exploitable memory corruption vulnerability in the PNG image parser. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
The bug was discovered 06/13/2017. The weakness was published 06/13/2017 by Natalie Silvanovich with Google Project Zero as APSB17-17 as confirmed security bulletin (Website).
