Details
A vulnerability was found in EMC Data Protection Advisor up to 6.3. It has been classified as critical. This affects some unknown functionality. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
EMC Data Protection Advisor prior to 6.4 contains multiple blind SQL injection vulnerabilities. A remote authenticated attacker may potentially exploit these vulnerabilities to gain information about the application by causing execution of arbitrary SQL commands.
