HTTP.sys in Microsoft Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, Windows RT 8.1, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, and 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allows an information disclosure vulnerability when the component improperly handles objects in memory, aka "Https.sys Information Disclosure Vulnerability".
The bug was discovered 07/11/2017. The weakness was released 07/11/2017 as KB4025339 as confirmed security update guide (Website). The advisory is shared at portal.msrc.microsoft.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2017-8582 since 05/03/2017. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
