Adobe Flash Player versions 26.0.0.131 and earlier have a security bypass vulnerability related to the Flash API used by Internet Explorer. Successful exploitation could lead to information disclosure.
The bug was discovered 07/11/2017. The weakness was presented 07/11/2017 by bo13oy as APSB17-21 as confirmed security bulletin (Website) via ZDI (Zero Day Initiative). The advisory is shared for download at helpx.adobe.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2017-3080 since 12/02/2016. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
