Apache OpenMeetings 1.0.0 doesn t check contents of files being uploaded. An attacker can cause a denial of service by uploading multiple large files to the server.
The bug was discovered 07/13/2017. The weakness was presented 07/13/2017 with Security Innovation as CVE-2017-7684 - Apache OpenMeetings - Insecure File Upload as confirmed mailinglist post (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at seclists.org. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with Apache. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-7684 since 04/11/2017.
