Jython 2.2.1 uses the current umask to set the privileges of the class cache files, which allows local users to bypass intended access restrictions via unspecified vectors.
The bug was discovered 03/06/2015. The weakness was published 07/19/2017 by Nike Zheng as Oracle Critical Patch Update Advisory - July 2017 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at oracle.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2013-2027 since 02/19/2013. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
