The bug was discovered 06/04/2017. The weakness was disclosed 07/19/2017 by Nitay Artenstein with Exodus Intelligence as HT207923 as confirmed advisory (Website). No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
