A vulnerability was found in Hangul Word Processor (the affected version is unknown) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code in the library hwpapp.dll of the component HWPX File Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer. hwpapp.dll in Hangul Word Processor allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted heap spray, and by leveraging a "type confusion" via an HWPX file containing a crafted para text tag.
