A vulnerability was found in GLPI up to 9.1.4 (Asset Management Software) and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file front/backup.php of the component Backup Handler. front/backup.php in GLPI before 9.1.5 allows remote authenticated administrators to delete arbitrary files via a crafted file parameter.
The bug was discovered 07/12/2017. The weakness was published 07/28/2017 (GitHub Repository). The advisory is shared at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-11183 since 07/11/2017. The attack may be initiated remotely. The requirement for exploitation is a simple authentication.
