Manage Engine Desktop Central 9 before build 90135 allows remote attackers to change passwords of users with the Administrator role via an addOrModifyUser operation to servlets/DCOperationsServlet.

The bug was discovered 03/27/2015. The weakness was disclosed 08/02/2017 with Zohocorp as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-2560 since 03/19/2015. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
