An Improper Privilege Management issue was discovered in Fuji Electric Monitouch V-SFT versions prior to Version 5.4.43.0. Monitouch V-SFT is installed in a directory with weak access controls by default, which could allow an authenticated attacker with local access to escalate privileges.
The bug was discovered 08/10/2017. The weakness was disclosed 08/14/2017 with Zero Day Initiative (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2017-9662 since 06/14/2017. Attacking locally is a requirement. Required for exploitation is a single authentication.
