A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Google Android (Smartphone Operating System) (the affected version is unknown). This issue affects the function memcpy of the component Qualcomm Video Driver. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. In all Qualcomm products with Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, in a video driver, memory corruption can potentially occur due to lack of bounds checking in a memcpy().
The bug was discovered 08/05/2017. The weakness was shared 08/18/2017 with Qihoo 360 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at source.android.com.
