A vulnerability was found in GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 (Image Processing Software). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function CloneImage of the file magick/image.c. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-119. GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 has a memory leak vulnerability in the function CloneImage in magick/image.c.
The bug was discovered 08/11/2017. The weakness was presented 08/22/2017 by Venustech with Adlab of Venustech (Website). The advisory is available at sourceforge.net. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-13066 since 08/22/2017. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
