A vulnerability was found in EyesOfNetwork Web Interface 5.1-0 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file module\tool_all\tools\snmpwalk.php of the component Web Interface. In the EyesOfNetwork web interface (aka eonweb) 5.1-0, module\tool_all\tools\snmpwalk.php does not properly restrict popen calls, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in a parameter.
The bug was discovered 09/02/2017. The weakness was disclosed 09/03/2017 (Website). The advisory is shared at kk.whitecell-club.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-14119 since 09/03/2017. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. The requirement for exploitation is a simple authentication. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1202 for this issue.
