A vulnerability has been found in Audit up to 2.4.3 on Linux and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the file /auparse/auparse.c of the component Filename Handler. The bug was discovered 08/13/2015. The weakness was published 09/06/2017 by Steve Grubb with Red Hat (oss-sec). The advisory is available at openwall.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-5186 since 07/01/2015. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
